Ms. Falan Nychole Taylor
Born in Manhattan, New York, Ms. Falan Taylor is no stranger to food, and the business of satisfying others starting with their stomachs. A third generation cook, her mother and grandmother both sought cooking and catering to make a living for their families.
Falan realized at the tender age of 15 that not only was her heart in this field also, she was going to do whatever she could to live out hers and her predecessors dream.
In July 1999, she moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia, where she met her husband, Tim. They married in 2001 and his military career carried them to Sicily, Italy in 2002 where she began her formal training. In spring 2004, she dedicated " Personal Chef" services to active duty military members whose tremendous work schedule prevented them from having the nutritional meals during the day that they needed to maintain the proper readiness required day to day. She managed her business up until her 7th month of pregnancy with her first child, Timani- who was born October 15, 2004.
Ms. Taylor graduated from The School of Gourmet Cooking and Catering in Winter 2004 where she obtained the basic and intermediate skills she would need to pave her way in the gourmet food profession. Falan is also a member of the American Culinary Federation .
Now residing in Austin Texas, Falan has finished her 1st self- published cookbook, "Housewife Cuisine." which was a trial run. The complete cookbook is not available at this time. Ms. Taylor was enrolled in the Le Cordon Bleu program at Texas Culinary Academy, and is independently filming her monthly cooking series. She is also the Executive Personal Chef of Housewife Cuisine LLC. Personal Chef services are now provided and is expected to grow rapidly.\Her long term dreams include having her own cooking television show, and graduating from Culinary School.
