Florida Blue invites to its “Ladies Day Out” in Miami,

this Saturday June 11th from 10am to 4pm at the Florida Blue center on

8895 SW 136th Street, Miami, FL 33176,

across from The Falls Shopping Center

MIAMI, FL. – (6 June 2011). Florida Blue announces its “Ladies Day Out,” a fabulous Health and Spa

Event to be held on Saturday June 11th, at their Miami location near The Falls. Celebrated with great

success in other Florida cities, the Miami “Ladies Day Out” will be a fun-filled family day with

complimentary pampering, health education, fashion, music, raffles, food and drinks for women, men

and children.

Florida Blue is expecting more than 600 guests during Saturday’s free event and will greet them with

many special treats. The event will showcase diverse entertainment including a fashion show

featuring: White House Black Market, Macy’s, Swim N’ Sport, Soma Intimates and Flip Flop Shops, a

live self defense demonstration by Chi Tai Kwon Do, a unique cooking demonstration by Falan Taylor

of Housewife Cuisine, and aromatherapy experiences by Yankee Candle.

The first thirty women to arrive will have the opportunity to receive a free mammogram voucher from

Baptist Health Systems in Miami, and all guests will be offered complimentary Personal Health

Assessments, tests for blood pressure, glucose, biomeasure and cholesterol. Also, bone density

scans will be offered while supplies last, and a Women’s Health Q&A session will be presented by the

Miami-Dade Health Department.

All families who attend the event will be entered into a raffle to win prizes and giveaways from

vendors and will enjoy delicious food catered by Whole Foods and BeOrganic, refreshing Razz

Lemonade by Starbucks, frozen yogurt by PinkBerry, and creative fruit snack displays by Edible

Arrangements. Kids will master their skills at the arts & crafts table and will be amazed by a magician

courtesy of Silly Farms. Moms, wives, sisters, aunts and all ladies will also have the chance to win

facials by Origins, relaxing massages by Health Designs, and cutting edge hair styling by Beauty

Salons of America. They will also get to share skin care and makeup tips with experts from Clarins-

Paris in preparation for professional green screen glamour shots by Silly Farms. The experience is

complete with some love coaching offered by the Love Guru at Heart’s Desire and some dancing to

the beats of the 94.9 and 101.5 DJ’s, both stations that will be broadcasting live from the Florida Blue

center.
